Another great online event!!

Thanks to SESAC who hosted us, and to Sam Ash Music who generously gave gift certificates!

And thanks to all the participating songwriters and to those of you who took advantage of the free peek to check it all out.  The panelists, Tony McAnany, John McCracken and Steve Messina were great!!  We had enough time for them to be able to make some general commentary about the songs they were hearing and to give some sage advice.  They were all informative, insightful, and especially helpful!

And, as usual the songwriting was stellar!  Congratulations to everyone who had Keepers this time, and I’ll put good thoughts out there that they all turn into placements for you!

The participation is still low though.  If anyone of you out there have a thought as to why there’s a hesitation to sign up to pitch a song, I’d love to hear it.  Is the online thing off-putting?  Not sure we’re legit?  I’ve had some great panelists and the highlight reels should show you we’re on the level.   I would have thought that those of you outside New York would welcome the opportunity to be able to join us.  Anyone with a comment, I’d love to hear them!
